Adding/Editing Historical Events

What Qualifies as a Timeline Event

We’re looking for events that are historically meaningful to the server, such as:

• Major builds or public infrastructure projects
• Wars, conflicts, or political events
• Server updates or season launches
• Large and significant tournaments or competitions
• Economic milestones
• Notable community moments

What Will Be Denied

Submissions may be denied if they:

• Are minor/personal achievements (e.g., “I got full diamond”)
• Are duplicates of existing events
• Are jokes, memes, or low-effort posts
• Contain misinformation
• Break any NostalgiaCraft server or Discord rules
• Target or harass other players
• Attempt to rewrite history dishonestly

Repeated abuse of the submission system may result in loss of access.

How to Submit an Event

1️⃣ Log In

• Visit the Timeline website and login with Discord, authorize the website to view your roles in the NC Discord

2️⃣ Open the Submit Form

• On the homepage, click Submit Event
• Fill out all required fields

3️⃣ Provide Accurate Event Details

You’ll be asked for:

• Title – Must be clear and descriptive
• Date – When the event happened (be as accurate as possible)
• Description – What happened? Why was it significant?
• Category – Choose the most accurate category
• Image – Screenshot(s) or image(s) related to the event

4️⃣ Upload Image(s)

• PNG, JPG, or WebP
• Max 10MB per attachment
• Must clearly relate to the event you are submitting
• No edited/misleading images

After submission, your event will be marked Pending and reviewed by the staff team.

How to Suggest an Edit to a Historical Event

You can hover over any event and click the three dots to open the edit suggestion menu.
