In-game Fair Use Policy
Our goal is to provide a fantastic Minecraft experience for all players. To ensure everyone has a blast, we’ve established some guidelines to keep our server running smoothly.
We Care About Your Creations
Our top priority is maintaining a fantastic playing experience for all players. We strive to create an environment where everyone can enjoy the game without interruptions or frustrations.
Performance Matters
To achieve our goal of 20 TPS and a lag-free server, we may need to make adjustments to ensure the server runs smoothly. If your farm or build is causing performance issues, we’ll reach out to you to:
- Request modifications to reduce lag.
- Limit entity or block counts if necessary.
In extreme cases requiring immediate attention, we may disable your farms or pause the function of your builds to ensure the server runs smoothly and as lag-free as possible. Some examples may include, but are not limited to the following situations:
- Villager breeder overflow where unused villagers pile up, causing collision-lag and excess pathfinding operations (we will disable the breeder in these cases)
- Large-scale redstone builds that lag the server (we will disable the build entirely)
- Large-scale structures with multiple farms, all within simulation distance
As a last option, we may remove builds that are proven to lag the server in order to protect the community’s playing experience.
Collaboration is Key
We’re not here to dictate how you play or build. We’re a team, and we’ll try to work with you to find solutions that benefit everyone. However, we must do so in a manner that prioritizes everyone’s playing experience.
By playing on NostalgiaCraft, you agree to cooperate with staff in the event that your builds/farms/entities cause lag or negatively affect the community. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to open a ticket in the Discord or reach out to us via email.
