Builder Responsibilities

Players with the builder rank are no different than regular community members on the server, except these perks and restrictions:

[Builder] prefix in chat
Free additional home slot
Access to /togglepvp
Access to multiple pages of /inspect
Not allowed to raid/kill (self-defense is permitted, but most will disable PvP)

Builders have a few defined responsibilities:

Work with the staff team to maintain all graylisted/community areas such as the Overworld spawn, Nether hub, The End’s main island, etc.
- Builders may collaborate with each other and discuss/make certain decisions independently, such as removing old spawn builds, etc.
In the Discord, closely monitor and provide guidance for players’ building tickets. Give feedback and advise players’ building plans accordingly, and be a part of the decision-making process.
- Builders should collaborate and agree on a consensus for whether a build request is suitable for construction.
Availability and desire to assist and contribute towards special events needing builds or decoration.
- Builders have been the backbone and instrumental to the success of the NostalgiaCraft community events. Builders play a crucial role in organizing community events, whether it’s a fun seasonal event like “Secret Santa” or a major annual celebration like the “NC Anniversary.” They contribute their creative ideas, intricate decorations, and impressive builds to make sure these events truly showcase the diverse talents within the community.
Exemplify and showcase yourself as a remarkable role model in the community, engaging with new players and skillfully directing those with questions or concerns to the appropriate place for help.
- Helping non-graylisted players shop or obtain items in spawn.
- Answering commonly asked questions from other players in the community.

Builders cannot engage in PvP or raid other players. In return, they are exempt from PvP and can toggle it on and off. Builders have the option to enable PvP immunity while still being able to defend their build locations from others.
